Printed Products Finishing Processing Die Cutting Embossing?
In China, two main types of embossing machines are commonly used: flat-bed embossing machines and cylinder-to-flat embossing machines.
Flat-bed embossing machines can produce embossed effects with richer contours and more detailed dimensional layers, but their production efficiency is relatively lower.
Cylinder-to-flat embossing machines offer higher production efficiency; however, the embossed contours and three-dimensional effects are generally less pronounced compared with flat-bed machines.
Die-cutting refers to the process of cutting paper sheets, printed products, or other substrates into specific shapes by using a die plate composed of steel cutting blades arranged in a predetermined pattern or frame on a die-cutting machine.
The production of a die-cutting plate is commonly known as knife layout (die layout). The quality of the knife layout is a critical factor in ensuring the quality of the finished products.
Process flow of die-cutting and creasing:
Die mounting → Pressure adjustment → Positioning setup → Rubber stripping insertion → Trial die-cutting → Production die-cutting → Waste removal and finishing → Finished product inspection → Packaging.
