CTP Plate Making Machine Classification

CTP plate making machines are generally divided into four categories: inner drum type, outer drum type, flat type, and curve type. Among these four types, the inner drum and outer drum types are the most used; among them, the high-end CTP platesetters with better performance all use the outer drum type.

CTP technology includes thermal imaging technology and photosensitive imaging technology. The most widely used and most stable performance is thermal imaging technology. The most advanced and mature CTP platesetter thermal imaging technology is the "square light spot" thermal imaging technology introduced by Kodak.
