  Flexographic printing is a type of letterpress printing, but the printing plate is soft and flexible. The pressure of flexographic printing is only 1/30 of that of traditional letterpress printing, and the corrugated cardboard is slightly deformed after printing. The water-based ink used in flexographic printing is almost completely absorbed by the corrugated cardboard as long as it touches the corrugated cardboard lightly. The commonly used flexographic plate materials are photosensitive resin plate and rubber.

   Flexographic printing is more suitable for corrugated boxes with low printing precision standards (such as text line drafts), large quantities, rapid requirements, large areas, and low prices.

5080 Computer To Flexo Plate system adopts the latest development of H256 laser head technology.

A full size of 50 inch×80 inch plate output only needs 30 minutes.

 

Digital Flexo CTP Plate making process
First, use a computer to create the graphics, images, text, etc. to be engraved.

Then special computer imaging software will convert the graphic information of the original into executable relevant parameter data such as depth, size and shape for modulation of the laser beam.

The control system then controls the movement of the laser beam according to the command. The laser acts on the surface of the material and uses the power of the laser to ablate graphic information into dots.

After the ablation, the dot residues are processed by a special device.

6,The Laser head can also support 2540dpi output, lf the requirement of imaging output is not critical,the mode of output can be adjusted to double line overlapping exposure which can greatly increase productivity to150%.
7,Voice coil motor device is used for dynamic auto focus function,This can ensure accurate focus during exposure on the non-unifor surface of fexo plate.

 

8,Double lines and triple lines overlapping functions can allow the LAMS ablation with the superior image quality and efficiency for flexo plate exposure.

9,Instanttemperature monitoring and pre calibration of laser head can make sure the laser exposure stability and reliability.
This new generation of Light Valve Device can also allow1.to raise the resolution to 10160dpi. At this super high resolution,the laser spot size is 2.5umx2 5um and can image 5 or less um lines.
