5080 Carton Printing Flexo Plate Making Machine

1.Application

  The FL5080 Flexo CTP machine is used for Corrugated  Package Printing or Flexo Plate Making Center. It can expose the Heat corrosive film, Digital relief printing plate (water-wash), Digital flexo plate (water-wash), Digital flexo plate (solvent based), or Thermal PS plate and so on.

  By 256CH Laser Valve head,the flexo CTP can make the plate with high resolution and rich square dot output.

2.Characteristic

1)Easy to use :

After placing plate, the only step you need to do is to press a button to finish the plate loading within seconds.

2)Automatic Focusing :The machine can be used for different thickness plate from 0.15mm to 1.7mm. Dynamic autofocus system keeps accurate focus constantly to ensure sharp dot.

3)Auto balance system of drum takes no more than 5 seconds to adjust drum balance block to a position, make the drum stable in high speed rotation.

4)Auto switch of laser channel: When any laser channels breaks down, laser channel auto switch system can continue output through the longest consecutive channel that remains working to ensure non-stop production.

3.Specification

Difference Between CTP Round Dot And Screen Dot

When using round dot spot for imaging, the diameter of light spot size should match of the image dot size. For example, for 5080dpi, the image dot pixel size is 5umx5um which is like a square area. So if using a round light spot size of 5u diameter, the light cannot expose the four corners of square area. In order to ensure the light spot can expose the full image pixel area, round dot spot diameter need to use larger size which is equivalent to the diagonal length of the square area. That is 7.07um which is1.414 times of the dot size as shown below.

5um diameter spot size cannot expose the full square area while 7um diameter spot size cause unwanted exposure on some areas which over lapping each other. This creates an irregular image with such arc-shaped edge.

So some optics development fellow try to select the optimum diameter of light spot instead of using 7.07 um diameter size. However, no matter what diameter of dot size is chosen, there is still some dificiency in quality.

For rectangle dot shape, it allows development fellows to choose straightly a 5umx5umum size spot which completely expose the full square area as shown below.
