How to do the partial reserved spot coating by rubber blanket?
Usually during pharmaceutical packaging processing, in order to improve the surface quality, the surface is usually glazed, that is, a layer of colorless transparent paint is applied (or varnished or printed) on the surface of the printed paper sheet. After drying, it protects and increases the gloss of the printed matter. A layer of colorless and transparent varnish is coated on the surface of the printed paper sheet. After varnishing, drying or UV curing, a thin and even transparent bright layer is formed on the surface of the printed paper, which enhances the smoothness of the carrier surface. Protects the finishing function of printed graphics and text. It is generally completed by a UV coating machine, and the rubber blanket is a component on the spot coating machine,to do the full coating or partial reserved varnishing.
The rubber blanket size of the UV spot coating machine SD1060 is 810*1070*1.9mm, one or two pcs of printed paper sheet are needed as the back pad sheet . The pad sheet is under the rubber blanket, clamped on the rubber roller of the spot coating machine.
To do the partial reserved coating ,for paper box gluing or barcode printing, there are two ways :
1. Cut the part of the pad sheet need to be whithout varnishing, and put it under the rubber blanket,before the blanket is clamped on the rubber roller.
2. Cut the edge or part of the rubber blanket, which need no varnishing.
